The task brief is laid on the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:
You can draw a house with windows, a door, a flagpole, a chimney, and a lit fireplace on the sheet of paper.
You can drink the glass of cream.
You can sort the Non-Stops by colour.
Fastest out of the lab wins.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Also on the table, there are: a pad of plain white paper, and wax crayons in a range of colours; a glass full of cream; and a small glass bowl full of multi-coloured Non-Stop candies, surrounded by five other empty glass bowls.
- This task is conceptually similar to the ‘Quickly follow the very first instruction’ task but, since the key instruction to be followed is not at the very start of the task brief, and multiple options for activities are suggested to them first, it is categorised here as original.
- Also, although the goal of the task is the same as the ‘Leave the room’ task, it is otherwise substantially different in its set-up.
