Task brief

The actual text of the task brief is not known. The text below is paraphrased based on information disclosed in the episode:

Walk clockwise around the table while the music plays.

When the music stops, pour a glass of wine.

Whoever does not have a glass poured is eliminated, and must sit at the table.

The glasses must always remain on the table.

Last pourer standing wins.

Task notes

  • Olli calls the task an homage to Grevinnen og hovmesteren (‘The Countess and the butler’), which is the Norwegian name for the short comedy film Dinner For One. Since 1980, this film has been broadcast on NRK every 23rd of December.
  • On the stage, there is a dining table with four empty seats, and with Atle seated at the head, on his throne. The dining table has been set for a dinner, with fine china and lit candles on the table, in a recreation of the film, complete with a (fake) tiger skin rug.
  • Each contestant is holding an open bottle of red wine.
  • After each contestant is eliminated, Olli offers them a large piece of red fabric to cover themselves with, just in case the red wine is spilled.
