Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- David decided to break Alex's 2018 Broadcast Award by smashing it with a mallet and trying to set it on fire. He then attempted to fix it with a permanent marker and aluminium foil.
- Ed pulled grapes off their stalk and broke a bar of chocolate into pieces. He attempted to superglue the grapes back onto the stalk, but ended up just putting the grapes and chocolate in a pile and covering it all in glue.
- Jo decided to break a bar of chocolate up into individual squares, which she then fixed by taping the squares together.
- Katy decided to break a slice of bread up, and then squish it back together using water.
- Rose decided to cut a piece of string into lots of pieces, which she then tied back together.
