Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, the contestants must get a fish into a fishbowl from behind a rope. They must utter a specific phrase when the fish begins its trip, the fish is not allowed to touch the ground, and they are judged on the quality of the fish’s trip, rather than on how quickly the trip is completed.

Task brief

The task brief is wrapped around a wriggling cloth toy fish on a circular red Taskmaster-branded marker spot in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:

Be a cool guy and take Fish back home.

Fish can't touch the ground.

You must start Fish's journey back home from behind the rope, and say ‘Go, Fish! Have a safe trip home!’.

The best Fish trip home wins.

You have 20 minutes.

Task notes

Some distance away from the marker spot, past a rope and stanchion barrier, there is a fishbowl full of water on a stool, along with a sign reading ‘Vivenda Fish, Largo do Jardim no 1’ (‘Fish Villa, Garden Square no. 1’).
The word ‘fish’ sounds like the Portuguese word ‘fixe’, which means ‘cool’.
