Task notes

• The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing behind a table and a plinth.
• On each table, there is a pyramid stack of 15 paper cups (in a different colour for each contestant).
• Between each two tiers of the stack, there is a posterboard layer with an instruction printed on it for the contestants to follow for the rest of the task:
  • The instruction between the first two tiers tells the contestants to put their right hand behind their back.
  • The instruction between the second and third tiers tells the contestants to shut their right eye.
  • The instruction between the third and fourth tiers tells the contestants to raise their right foot above the ground.
  • The instruction between the fourth and fifth tiers tells the contestants to open their mouth, stick their tongue out, and groan.
