Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Ana brings in hair extensions. She explains that even though she has short hair, she still puts in short extensions, which confuses people. She later claims that the hair is made in a Brazilian prison. Ivan awards Ana two points.
  • Ante brings in a Hungarian dictionary. He says that he does not understand how a country that shares a border with Croatia could have such a different language. Ivan awards Ante three points.
  • Igor brings in a pair of earbuds. He is confused as to how they can always get so tangled, despite the care he takes in storing them in their own container or neatly rolling up the cord. Ivan awards Igor one point.
  • Enio brings in a mobile phone. Enio has several layers of confusion. He is confused as to why, when he is texting, the other person's phone can display that Enio is writing a message before anything has been sent. He is confused by the process of how text and image messaging in general works, and he is confused by the fact that he has such a high phone bill when his normal billing plan is for a much lower amount. Ivan, believing that a mobile phone would actually confuse an old man like Enio, awards Enio five points.
  • Unable to bring in a live chicken as she had wanted, Lidija settles with bringing in an egg. She justifies her decision by bringing up the philosophical question of “which came first: the chicken or the egg?” Ivan awards Lidija four points, but admits that it's only out of pity.
