In this version of the task, the contestants have until the studio recording for episode eight to find their doppelgangers, who then appear on stage with them.

Task brief

The contestants find the task brief in their locker in the changing room. The brief for the task is as follows:

Find your doppelganger.

You must bring your doppelganger to the studio record for episode eight.

Best doppelganger wins.

Your time starts now.
The doppelgangers of the contestants on the Taskmaster studio stage. They are Blake as Chris Parker, Ray O’Leary as Josh Thomson, Edward Cowley (aka Buckwheat) as as Justine Smith, Bree Tomasel as Kura Forrester, and Juan De La as Paul Ego.

Task notes

  • The inside of the door of their locker is covered with small mirrors.
  • After a commercial break, the contestants' chosen doppelgangers are seated in their chairs, and Jeremy speaks to each of them, pretending not to notice the change.
  • The contestants themselves are then revealed on-stage.

  • Chris brought in a stripper Blake (of Bare Butlers) dressed as a fireman. He received 5 points.
  • Josh brought in comedian Ray O'Leary, both of them dressed in matching suits and ties. He received 5 points.
  • Justine brought in a drag queen (credited as Edward Cowley), dressed in similar outfits. She received 5 points.
  • Kura brought in a radio host Bree Tomasel. She received 5 points.
  • Paul brought in Juan De La (a man who claimed he had no idea what was going on and was merely standing backstage), both of them being bald men, wearing matching Hawaiian shirts and also wearing matching glasses. He received 5 points.
