Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Martha immediately assumes that the terrarium contains a spider of some kind. She gingerly picks some pieces out, but becomes scared by her own hair at one point. At some point, she asserts that there is nothing living in the terrarium but then, in response to the lack of any agreement from anyone else in the room, questions her own assertion. She loosely collects the pieces of the puzzle together in the centre of the terrarium, but can in no way be said to have assembled it. Still operating in a high emotional state, she screams when trying to leave the lab, after seeing a lamp. Atle awards her one point for her trauma.
- Live's arms automatically retract into a fetal position as she considers what might be in the terrarium. She manages to extract some pieces of the puzzle, withdrawing her arm as quickly as she possibly can each time. She eventually fetches some cutlery to help her move some of the items of scenery in the terrarium without actually touching them. She actually manages to put the whole puzzle together inside the box in 25 minutes and 11 seconds, though, earning second place.
- Henriette bravely reaches into the terrarium to collect some jigsaw puzzle pieces, but her arm recoils almost immediately, and she has to back away from it. She starts telling herself (in Swedish) that she is not afraid, to give herself courage, while picking out more pieces, but still recoils in horror during the process. She recognises that there is probably nothing in the terrarium, but cannot shake the anxiety that has already been instilled in her, as she tries to look under pieces of the scenery in the box. The image of the snake on the puzzle clearly isn't helping, as it gives her mind an idea of what might be lurking in the box. She again asserts that she is not afraid, because she has not yet seen anything move, but is still unable to keep her hand in the box any longer than necessary to place a puzzle piece. She loosely assembles the puzzle within the terrarium, and earns third place for her effort.
- Kristoffer appears to understand that there is nothing in the terrarium, or else he has no fear of creepy-crawly things, as he leans over the edge and collects the pieces of the puzzle with no hesitation. He correctly guesses that most of the others will not be enjoying themselves so much. He assembles the puzzle well within the terrarium in 21 minutes and 15 seconds, winning the task.
- Espen does the best job he can to keep his nerves under wraps but, when Olli attempts to ask him whether the terrarium bothers him, he abruptly yells at him to hush. He only roughly assembles the pieces of the puzzle inside the terrarium, apparently keen to leave the room. Atle awards him fourth place for his effort.

Notes on task scores
- Although the task brief specifies that it will be scored based on speed, Atle decides to also award points to those who did not complete the jigsaw puzzle, based on how much of the puzzle they completed, since the task was so psychologically traumatic for most of them.
