The second task brief is received in the kitchen, where it is laid on a cutting board on the cooker hob, next to the contestants' requested ingredients. The briefs for the task are as follows:

- Frankie chose: 50, 2 minutes, cherries, flour, pepper, milk, Scotland, dog, and large. He struggled and just made a pile of flour with one red cherry eye. As he also forgot to clap, Frankie received 1 point.
- Ivo chose: 42, 4 minutes and 20 seconds, basil, cumin, garlic, salt, cannellili beans, France, duck, and feisty. He forgot to clap and panicked after spending too much time thinking, ending up covering a plastic duck in his ingredients. As he forgot to clap, Ivo received 1 point.
- Jenny chose: 75, 15 minutes, chili, potato, Germany, shoe, and gold. She found the gold shoe from a previous task and stuffed it with chili con carne. As she forgot to clap, Jenny received 1 point.
- Kiell chose: 7, 1 minute and 21 seconds, sausage, ketchup, bun, mustard, grilled onions, Kenya, bench, and cowering. Despite the short time limit, Kiell managed to cut the hot dog to create a bench that was cowering from a large piece of the bun, and clap at the very end of the task. He received 5 points.
- Mae chose: 80, 19 minutes, corn, egg, cheese, Guatemala, duck, and splendid. They clapped first before attempting to make a corn fritter in the shape of a duck. Mae received 4 points.
