Task brief
The task brief is laid on top of an artist’s palette, on the driveway. The brief for the task is as follows:
Make these things have the same colour as those things.
People and paint bottles must be in the same location for the duration of the task.
You may perform 10 bottle-stomps and two bottle-squeezes.
Best colour matching wins.
You have 10 minutes.

Task notes
- The contestants arrive in their teams, wearing protective overalls, and are instructed to each go to one of three circular red markers which have been set up on the driveway.
- Two of the markers have bottles of poster paint and protective goggles on/next to them, while the third is located between two plinths, and has an artist’s palette, a large paintbrush, and protective goggles next to it.
- On one of the plinths, there are an aubergine, a mango, and a potato. On the other plinth, there are the same objects, but they’ve been painted white.
- The paint colours inside the bottles do not necessarily match the colours of the bottles themselves.
