Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Get a bullseye with a slice of pickle.
If your slice of pickle lands in the first ring, you must read an apology from the apology jar to the viewers before you can attempt another throw.
If your slice of pickle lands in the second ring, you must eat an entire pickle before another attempt.
If your slice of pickle lands in the third ring, you must perform your next attempt wearing oven mitts.
If your slice of pickle misses the entire board, you must live with that shame for the rest of your life.
First to hit the bullseye with their slice of pickle, and have it stay there for five seconds, wins.
Your time starts on David’s cue.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up along the back of the stage, each stood next to a table upon which there are a jar of pickle slices, a jar of whole pickles, a pair of oven mittens, and a jar containing pieces of paper, upon which there are apologies written for them to read out.
- At the front of the stage, in front of each contestant, there is a circular target printed on a clear acrylic screen, mounted in a black frame. Each target consists of three white rings, labelled ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’.
