Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Toss your duck into the bath.

All contestants must be blindfolded whilst others throw.

If your duck misses, you are eliminated.

If no-one's duck misses, the contestant who tossed their duck from the closest will be eliminated.

The crowd has been instructed to cheer adoringly for every toss, regardless of its outcome.

You may lap that adoration up as you wish.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side along the back of the stage, each wearing a pink bathrobe and a shiny violet shower cap, and holding a rubber duck.
There is a chaise longue on the stage in front of them, where they must sit once they are eliminated.
Tom Cashman is stood at the far left-hand side of the stage.
At the far right-hand side of the stage, there is a bathtub full of soapy water.
Between Tom Cashman and the bathtub, a giant yellow ruler with black distance markers is laid across the stage.
The contestants must blindfold themselves when not throwing, by pulling the shower caps down over their eyes.
