Task brief

The task brief is presented on a plinth in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:

Tip a bucket to find the potato.

Every time you tip a bucket that does not contain a potato, your time will be doubled.

Task notes

In front of the plinth, 29 buckets have been mounted on some scaffolding, each with a rope attached to it.
The Dano-Norwegian is comprised of 29 letters – A-Z, then Æ, Ø, and Å.
The contents of the buckets are in alphabetical order, with the potato (‘kartoffel’) inside the eleventh bucket from the left, as the letter ‘K’ is the eleventh letter of the alphabet.
The contents of all of the 28 other buckets is not known, but they include an apple, a banana, a lemon (citron), a dinosaur, an elephant, a feather boa (fjerboa), a pomegranate (granatæble), an onion (løg), a QR code, a xylophone; some ymer (a Danish sour milk product), a zebra, an egg (æg), some ear warmers (ørewarmer), and a yearly pass (årskort).
The QR code, if scanned, displays the number 11 to the contestants.
