The task brief is in David’s possession in the garden, outside the caravan. The brief for the task is as follows:
Serve David a flying pancake.
The flying pancake must be thrown from the frying pan from one side of the bar, travel over the bar, and be caught in its entirety in the frying pan on the other side.
If a flying pancake hits the ground, it is considered spent.
Whoever serves a flying pancake over the highest bar wins.
The height is measured from the lowest point on the bar.
You have 20 minutes.
Your time starts when David says ‘Now it would be nice with a flying pancake’.
Task notes
- David sits at a small bistro-style table, with everything needed to dress a pancake.
- Nearby, a second table has been set up as a pancake-making station.
- Swedish pancakes are thin, like crêpes, and served with whipped cream and jam.
- The flagpoles have had a flexible bar strung between them, transforming them into a sort of high jump apparatus.
