A gift for the Taskmaster
- In this task the contestants are usually given a fixed amount of money and have an extended period between receipt of the task brief and the filming of the studio segments to purchase a suitable gift for the Taskmaster.
- However, in one instance, the contestants are given a budget for supplies, which they must then use to make a gift for the Taskmaster, at the Taskmaster house.
- The gifts are presented to the Taskmaster in the studio, and points are awarded based on which ones they like the most.

In the British version of Taskmaster the contestants are given £20 to spend on the gift.

In this version of the task, the contestants are not see to be given any cash or a budget. Instead, they are provided with a very large cardboard box, pre-wrapped in the style of a Christmas gift, within which their gift must fit.
In this version of the task, the contestants are given £50 and instructed to make the best gift for the Taskmaster. The making of the gift is filmed at the Taskmaster house, but the gift is then presented to Greg on stage in the studio.
In this version of the task, the contestants must bring in a Christmas gift for Atle.
