- It's notable that though a spinning top was present on the table, the task brief apparently did not require it to be spinning, so it was something of a red herring.

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- Ardal panicked, failing to spin the fidget spinner, ending up lying on the floor waving his legs. He received 0 points.
- Bridget initially panicked, threatening the pop-up monsters, but managed to just get everything to happen at the same time according to Greg looking at it frame by frame. As she was slower than Chris, she received 4 points.
- Chris immediately blew out the candles so they wouldn't relight. He managed to make everything happen at the same time in 2 minutes and 57 seconds, receiving 5 points.
- Judi panicked, repeating "I think I've got this" as she completed the task, but ended up having a monster pop up before she blew out the candles. She received 0 points.
- Sophie tried standing on the monsters to keep them down, but ended up failing to keep turning the egg timer. She received 0 points.
