Run the Taskmaster Hotel

Task notes

• Also on the reception desk in the living room, there are nametags bearing the contestants’ names, a folder containing reference material for running the hotel, and a book containing the details of guests with upcoming reservations.
• A banner has been hung above the front door of the house, reading “TASKMASTER HOTEL”.
• All of the doors inside of the house – as well as those of the caravan and the hutch – have been outfitted with room numbers, and the dome has been turned into a ‘spa area’.
• Alex is notably absent when the task brief is read, but appears almost immediately with a suitcase full of forks and marbles afterwards, playing a guest named ‘Qrs Tuvwxyz’ (pronounced “Chris Tuvwixes”).
• Qrs has a limited amount of time before an important upcoming meeting, but has a set of very specific services he needs the contestants to fulfil, during his short stay, including: room service consisting of a hot cucumber sandwich with a glass of milk; a change to a room with a better view; laundry service for his meeting in 15 minutes; a spa session; and a glass of milk with a bedtime story.
• Also, while all of this is going on, a smoke machine is set off in the ‘reception’ necessitating the temporary evacuation of the ‘hotel’.
