Park a vehicle in the parking bay

Task notes

• The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each behind a table upon which there is a small stuffed doll with their own face printed on it, a small flat marker placard with their face printed on it (for use on the smallest vehicle), a small chalkboard with four lines drawn on it, and a chalk marker pen.
• Four numbered parking bays are marked out in a row along the Knappett. Before the game begins, each contestant must decide in what order they want to try to park each of the four available vehicles: a hamster wheel car; a child’s rideable stuffed toy horse mounted on castor wheels; a wheeled shopping bag (hereafter referred to as a 'trolley'); and a push-chair for a baby doll (hereafter referred to as a 'buggy').
• In the first round, the contestants must attempt to roll their selected vehicle into the first parking bay; in the second round they are aiming for the second bay; and so on, with the least accurate contestant in each round being eliminated until a winner is identified.
• In the fourth round, the two remaining contestants attempt to park their vehicles at the same time (although this would clearly not have been possible of both of them had chosen the same vehicle for that round).
• The contestants must place either the doll or marker placard with their face on it on/in the vehicle they have chosen for each round.
• As each contestant takes their turn, Alex removes their vehicle from the Knappett and marks the place where it stopped with a small circular marker disc with their face printed on it.
• As each contestant is eliminated, Alex takes their doll version of them away from them and places it on a miniature red bench at the side of the stage.
