In this version of the task, the contestants must deliver a cup of tea to the Taskmaster’s friend – a scarecrow positioned in the centre of a sectioned-off square, within which the contestants are not permitted to walk. There is no menu available to assist the contestants with making the requested drink.

Task brief

The task brief is presented on a small white table in the garden. The brief for the task is as follows:

Serve Pilvi’s friend, Pirjo Pelätin, as tasty a mid-sized tea as possible.

You may not walk within the restricted area.

The fullest-to-the-brim mid-sized tea wins.

You have 10 minutes.

Task notes

Also on the table, there are a variety of teacups and mugs, some teaspoons, a teapot, some teabags, and what could be a jug of honey.
Nearby, a large square section of the garden has been marked out with long red pieces of wood. In the centre of this square, there is a scarecrow.
’Pelätin’ is the Finnish word for ‘scarecrow’.
