Task brief
The task brief is laid on the desk in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Build the longest bridge from any chosen point to another.
You must be able to pass under the bridge for it to be measured and approved.
The bridge may only be built from gingerbread, knekk, icing sugar, Seigmenn, and Non-Stops.
You have one hour.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Also on the desk are bowls filled with Laban Seigmenn jelly candies, Non-Stops (chocolate candies with fruit-flavoured crispy coatings), sugar, icing sugar, and several large stacks of different-sized pieces of gingerbread.
- ‘Knekk’ is melted / crack-hard sugar.
- In the studio, Olli clarifies that, for the purposes of the task, a bridge is considered to be something that has a foundation, and rises above the ground (otherwise it would be a road).
