In this version of the task, the contestants are forbidden from touching the watermelon with their hands, and they have 90 seconds to eat as much of it as possible. Also, the watermelon has been cut into four segments, since there’s no way they’d be able to cut or break it up themselves, without the use of their hands.

Task brief

The task brief is laid on top of a black sheet covering the contents of the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:

Eat as much watermelon as possible.

You may not touch the watermelon with your hands.

The one who eats the most watermelon wins.

You have 90 seconds. Your time starts now.

Task notes

Also on the table, there are some protective coveralls and safety goggles, which Pilvi instructs the contestants to put on before they read the task brief.
Once the contestants have dressed, Pilvi handcuffs their hands behind their backs.
Underneath the black sheet, there is a whole watermelon divided into four segments, protected by a sheet of aluminium foil.
