• António enters the lab already wielding a knife. He takes his time cutting the watermelon open, as by his own admittance, he is not a messy person. By the time he cuts out a chunk of watermelon and starts eating, he has used up nearly 3/4 of his allotted time. António eats a total of 120g, and comes fourth.
• Inês enters the lab empty-handed and, upon realising she will run out of time just getting a knife, takes the cutting board on which the watermelon is resting and slams it on the watermelon, trying to break it open. She finally throws the watermelon on the ground and starts eating. Inês eats a total of 482g, and comes second.
• Jessica enters the lab with several tools she thinks may be helpful: a knife, a large spoon, a pitcher, and a stick blender, intending to drink a watermelon smoothie. She cuts the watermelon open and uses the stick blender to blend the inside of half of the watermelon; unfortunately, when she asks Nuno how much time she has left, he informs her that her time has passed. Jessica eats a total of 0g, and comes last.
• Gilmário cracks the watermelon open on the corner of the table, but accidentally drops all of it onto the floor. Still, he picks up a half and starts eating. Gilmário eats a total of 330g, and comes third.
• Toy enters the lab and immediately punches the watermelon, breaking into it in only two strikes. He then begins eating the watermelon like a man possessed, tearing out chunks with his hands and shoving them into his mouth, ultimately eating nearly half of his watermelon. Toy eats a total of 587g, and wins the task.
