Be the Nth person to complete an action

  • In this task the contestants are instructed to attempt to be the Nth (e.g. 2nd, 3rd, 4th) person to complete a specific physical action.
  • This action may be to high-five the Taskmaster's assistant, or to touch another object (e.g. a fibreglass cow), or to burst out of a box.
  • Contestants may be disqualified or receive no points for completing the action first or last, with the remaining contestants earning points based on their relative times for completing the action.

Original version

In this version of the task, the first and last people to high-five the Taskmaster's assistant are disqualified.

Adaptations

In this version of the task, the contestants must aim to be the fourth person to press a button. The person who hits the button last comes in last place. No-one is disqualified based on when they press it.
In this version of the task, the contestants complete the task in their usual teams, although they are not competing as a team. The people who high-five the Taskmaster's assistant first and last are disqualified.
In this version of the task, the contestants must aim to be the fourth person to touch a fibreglass cow. The first person to touch it is disqualified, and the others are placed according to their relative times.
