Task brief
The task brief is laid on the desk in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Build an egg boat.
Your egg boat should be able to transport an egg.
You have three minutes to order five things.
After that, you have 15 minutes to build your egg boat.
Your five things must start with the same letter. But nothing ‘boaty’.
The fastest boat to cross the finish line wins.
If your boat sinks or drops the egg, that’s your result.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- The eggs are raced in a nearby stream, during what is punnily titled the ‘Bäst i Test 2024 Räggatta’ (‘regatta’ being the word for a boat race, and ‘ägg’ being the Swedish word for ‘egg’).
- Expert commentary is provided for the race by Per Skoglund, a sports reporter who normally provide commentary for horse races.
